Zuleika studied at Central Saint Martins -Camberwell, London institute of art (BA Hons) .Her work can be found in private collections worldwide.
She has always shared an affinity with animals and nature, fluidly creating her work from memory and feel. The intention is not to create a replica but take inspiration from the raw spirit and translate into art form.
“I developed a technique where slithers of clay are manipulated into textured fabric and layered over one another establishing multiple levels of depth. The concept is to create a form that celebrates the natural beauty of clay. I often make tears and incisions to encourage cracks to appear, revealing the beauty of what lays beneath.”
